Knowing what goes into your daily routine should be simple. Here’s a guide to the ingredients in the Bruzlo Instant Gray Coverage Stick, what they do, and what to know before use.

What’s inside

Our coverage stick combines oils, waxes, color pigments, fragrance, and a preservative.

Petrolatum — also known as petroleum jelly; helps hold in moisture.
Mineral Oil — helps soften skin and reduce moisture loss.
Polyisobutene — helps bind the formula and form a film during application.
Squalane — helps soften and condition skin.
Tridecyl Trimellitate — helps the formula spread smoothly.
Ozokerite — a mineral wax that gives the stick its firm texture.
CI 77492 (Yellow Iron Oxide) — adds color.
Copernicia Cerifera (Carnauba) Wax — a plant-derived wax that helps give the stick structure.
Cera Microcristallina (Microcrystalline Wax) — helps control the stick’s firmness and texture.
Cera Alba (Beeswax) — helps thicken and structure the formula.
CI 77499 (Black Iron Oxide) — adds color.
Parfum (Fragrance) — adds scent.
Propylparaben — a preservative that helps protect against microbial growth.

Allergies and sensitivities

Contains fragrance and beeswax. These and other ingredients can cause irritation or an allergic reaction in some people. Previous use without a reaction does not guarantee future tolerance.

Do not use if you have a known allergy to any ingredient or have previously reacted to this product.
If you’ve reacted to hair color, fragrance, or other cosmetics, speak with a healthcare professional before use.
If you have a skin condition in the application area, ask a healthcare professional whether the product is suitable for you.

Before you use it

Read and follow the directions and warnings on your product.
Do not apply to broken, irritated, or inflamed skin.
For external use only. Keep away from eyes and the inside of your nose and mouth.
Do not use on eyebrows or eyelashes.
Keep out of reach of children.

What about a patch test?

An at-home sensitivity test cannot guarantee that a product will not cause a reaction. Follow any sensitivity-test instructions supplied with your product. If the instructions are missing or unclear, contact us before use.

If you’ve already reacted to this product, do not try it again—even on a small patch of skin. A healthcare professional can advise you about appropriate allergy testing.

If your skin reacts

Stop using the product. Gently wash it off with water and a mild shampoo, avoiding your eyes. Do not scrub or reapply.

Seek medical advice if symptoms are severe, getting worse, or not going away. Do not delay urgent care to wash the product off.

Get emergency help immediately for trouble breathing or swallowing, sudden swelling of the lips, mouth, tongue, or throat, or fainting. Call 911 in the US, 999 in the UK, or your local emergency number.
